Question about verizon internet?

i got hughes net satellite internet and well it sucks the usage laws kill me i cant even do my online cles anymore so i was thinking about switching to verizon internet but is it good is it fast? or will i get tied down with dumb usage rules? i really think it would be good but i wont get it if it has usage laws :P
