Possibilty of stockholm's?

I have a friend who's 19 years old. When she was a child, her father would physically beat her half-brother (who's 7 years older than her) in front of her, yell at him and curse at him and would physically abuse and yell and curse at her too. He would hit her brother with his fists and would use fists and a leather belt on her. He would always leave bruises on her backside afterwards. When she was about 16, he would say "I can't wait until you move out!" but when she ran away, he came after her and hit her with his fists all over and forced her back home.She's been physically and verbally abused like this for over 10 years of her life but still insists that she loves him. Is it possible that she may have stockholm's syndrome?
