Spiritually speaking, why do people keep telling me that Santa Claus is not real?

I know he is real, but i am embarred to tell anyone that I do believe in Santa. Whenever I tell people I don't believe in him, i repeat in my head and hope he is hearing that I do believe in him. I am sick and tired of all this BS about SANTA not being real when he is. For all you haters I hope you get coal from SANTA!!!!! So why do people keep telling me he is not real.
